The Pack Mentality is the second episode of the third season of Prehistoric Island.
Plot[]
Malachite and his family have moved back to there old hunting ground. As well there babies have grown up and matured. Forest is the biggest of the 3. at 11 meters long, Belle closely follows at 10 meters long, and then theres Junior the smallest at 5 meters. They left there hunting ground to take care of there young. Now that they are all mature enough they have returned to there old hunting ground. They then decide to hunt together and choose a apatosaurus as there target. Annabelle tells Junior to stay put. He is still to young to hunt with the pack. Belle and Annabelle distract the apatosaurus. Malachite and Forest then attack. Eventually Annabelle and Belle also join and pin the Apatosaurus to the ground. They then all begin to eat. Junior also joins the feast.
We then see a pack of Utahraptors getting ready to hunt a Parasaurolophus. They are getting ready to hunt. However Slash darts right in before his pack has chosen there victim. Scaring the herd away. The pack growls angrily at Slash for his mistake. They all then leave. Minutes later they return to see the rest of the pack. Ivy scolds her son Slash for ruining the kill once more. If he screws up again he will be banished from the pack.
Lastly we see Gwangi and his brother Grey-Skull. who are fighting over a sauropod carcass. Alice comes in and at first backs down. But she then gets back up. They battle and although Gwangi gets in some bad bites. He and Gray-Skull are forced to give up the carcass.
