The Tough Life of a Herbivore is the third episode of the third season of dinosaur island it was uploaded on April 9th 2015 and runs for 13 minutes 38 seconds.
Plot[]
We start of Corytha who is drinking. But a Young Dilophosaurus tries to eat him. However Corytha is way to fast for the young Dilophosaurus and escapes. We then see Corytha with the rest of the herd. Corytha hangs out with Para while Maia is digging up a nest. But the Young Dilophosaurus is still hungry and attacks Corytha. He bites Corytha on the neck. Corytha manages to disconnect the bite. Still Corytha has some deep gashes. The Young Dilophosaurus is not done yet though and tries to attack Corytha again. But before he can do so Maia charges in and attacks the Young Dilophosaurus. Scaring it off and saving Corytha. It is still uncertain though if Corytha will survive with those neck bites.
Next we see a Pachyrhinosaurus who stumbles upon another ceratopsian. A Nasutoceratops. With both being male there interaction becomes a territorial dispute. As the two begin to fight. They first both try to scare the other off by showing off there territorial threat displays. Neither of them work. So they fight. The two butt heads. At first the Nasutoceratops uses his sharp horns to gut the Pachyrhinosaurus. But the Pachyrhinosaurus comes right back using his hard blunt to smash the Nasutoceratops. Shattering the right side of the Nasutoceratop's ribcage and rupturing many other internal orgins. Killing it. the Pachyrhinosaurus has won this fight.
Lastly we see Hammer who is eating some plants when she sees Razor and Violet. Violet first tells Switch Blade to stay back and watch before the hunt. Weirdly enough there hunting Hammer to protect Switchblade rather then for food. They chase Hammer until her leg gets snagged on a root. Hammer breaks free but trips again. This time more severely and this time Hammer dose not get up. Violet bites her on the neck and kills her.
